Circuit de la Sarthe

Two traps for anyone comparing records by length. N°12 and N°13 are both 13.650 km but different circuits: the 2006 rebuild of the Dunlop Curve and Tertre Rouge changed the layout without changing the measured distance. And N°7 (1979–1985) and N°15 (2018–) are both 13.626 km, forty years apart and nothing alike. Any record table keyed on length rather than layout conflates them.
Compiled and maintained by Slipstream Paddock from published race results. Wins are counted by chassis constructor, by engine supplier and by the company that owned the marque at the time, because those three answers differ and most tables pick one without saying which. Where sources disagree, the disagreement is recorded rather than resolved silently.
